Our VP of Business Development, Brad Swineheart, recently chatted with him to learn exactly how he achieved these results:
Kurt, I know you participated in this before, too. If you had one quick tip to give the viewers here, what would you say and what kind of success are you seeing?
Well, Laura just talked about one thing, which was following up with the no shows too. I’ve only done the one webinar, I’ve signed up for more, but all the business I got out of that first webinar actually came because we took the recording of the webinar, put it on Vimeo, which is just like a YouTube channel you can throw something on, and send a link to that to all the people who no showed. There were 20 no shows, I believe, and we got 16 views of that video, and all of our business ended up coming out of the no shows.
We did have some appointments with people who attended, of course, but you know, some of them didn’t have money. It’s just like any seminar. Some are good, some are not, some don’t connect, but the business that we did, and as I said, it was an eight to one ROI, all came out of the no shows and people who watched that video later. So we sent the link to the video and then I sent a BombBomb to everybody in the no show. Just one BombBomb that went to them all, introducing myself and saying, “Hey, we’re sorry, you missed this but if you’d like to see it, here’s a link below. Watch it here and give us a shout if you want to talk.”
