Our Origin Story

White Glove Co-Founders Dean Thurman and Mike Thurman are financial advisors by trade. They relied on the “old school” method of seminar marketing to grow their business for many years. They created print invitations and mailed them to people in an area where they wanted to host an educational seminar. They and their team did all the logistical coordination for the seminar (and if you’ve ever planned a seminar, you know it’s like a mini wedding!). They took on all the upfront financial risk. For a long time, many people would show up excited to learn more about retirement planning.

Then…things changed.

Fewer people attended the seminars, and the ones who did often weren’t people Dean and Mike were hoping to connect with as potential clients. More times than they would like to admit, they put the wrong information on a print mailer. There were times when the weather was awful, and no one wanted to brave the elements for a financial planning seminar. When these scenarios happened, Dean and Mike were out of luck and lost a LOT of money. And, perhaps the biggest challenge of all was Dean, Mike and their team were spending way too much time being event planners and not enough time being financial planners.

They knew there had to be a better way…

Overall, this person will lead the development and marketing web sites and Martech integrations for use in campaign management and lead generation for B2C as well as back-end applications to support B2B business solutions. This candidate will also be able to manage all data through Salesforce.com with deployment of BI though cloud-based tools.

Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for communicating with advisors and broker/dealers, providing mentorship to the sales department and maintaining relationships with broker/dealers. They also ensure White Glove’s marketing is compliant with FINRA, SEC and the broker/dealers’ requirements.

Content Strategist

The Content Strategist develops strategies and content marketing initiatives to increase digital retention, reactivation and acquisition of White Glove clients. The incumbent will manage the editorial calendar and develop compelling content for social and digital media platforms in order to provide reach for key launches, promotions and viral marketing efforts. They will also track analytics to make data-driven decisions for future campaigns.

 

CRM Specialist

As a CRM Specialist, you will assist the CRM (customer relationship management) program managers by entering information, fulfilling requests for information, performing list pulls from the system, testing programs and performing other tasks. You may also handle e-mail and Facebook comments for various business lines.

Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for organizing, launching, monitoring and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to promote seminars. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up landing pages, creating ad campaigns, determining target audiences and optimizing and measuring the impact of ad campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of current digital marketing tools/trends and will make suggestions for new tactics and strategies for our team to test.

Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for a national outreach initiative that involves communicating upcoming workshops to prospective clients. They will send email campaigns, ensure the correct information is being sent and analyze email campaign performance. This role also entails creating and adjusting content in campaigns to draw higher engagement with target groups.

Event Manager

As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing clients’ events, while also maintaining a positive relationship with them. The ideal Event Manager is a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who has a passion for event management and growing within the company.*

*One position will include responsibilities of an Event Manager/Venue Coordinator – perfect for those who have experience and interest in both positions.

Executive Assistant

An Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the C-Suite in a timely and professional manner. They will provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance while scheduling meetings, organizing daily calendars and being a main point of contact for our executive team. To be successful in this role, you must be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.

Front End Developer

The Front-End Developer will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with. They will develop new user-facing features and create user-friendly web pages. They will also maintain/improve the company website – creating high-quality graphics/visual elements and optimizing our web applications for maximum speed.

Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting an Account Executive with their daily tasks. This includes organizing and updating electronic forms and documents, updating spreadsheets and our customer relationship management system, scheduling and coordinating meetings, managing calendars and communicating with clients.

As a Venue Coordinator, you will handle venue booking processes from start to finish. This entails working with clients regarding their venue selection, continuous coordination with the client’s account executive, contract completion and researching suitable venues and locations to host our workshops.*

Social Media Marketing Account Manager

The Social Media Marketing Account Manager will help manage client accounts on our automated marketing platform. They will solve client problems and guide them through a basic orientation of the platform via virtual meetings and serve as a trainer in all customer onboarding sessions. The Social Media Marketing Account Manager will also provide great customer service while answering questions and updating clients.
